If you look after a farm, a building site or a small fleet, you probably have 12V and 24V vehicles side by side. The NOCO Boost MAX GB500+ handles both with a simple selector and an indicator that shows which voltage is set.
With 6250A peak it brings back petrol and diesel engines up to 45 L (6, 8, 12 or 16 cylinders): class 8 trucks, coaches, motorhomes and machines for farming, building sites or mines. UltraSafe 2.0 protects against sparks and reversed polarity, and a timer stops after 60 seconds to save power.
The 266 Wh battery feeds a pair of USB sockets plus a 12V outlet, the voltmeter shows battery voltage, and the 2200-lumen torch lights up a whole work area. Recharging takes 6-8 h.
How to use it, step by step
- 1. Switch off the ignition and set the selector to 12V or 24V to match the vehicle.
- 2. Clamp red to the positive terminal and black to negative or a solid earth point on the chassis.
- 3. Power the GB500+ on and read the voltmeter; below 3V, manual override mode is available.
- 4. Start the engine and disconnect in reverse: black clamp, then red clamp.
- 5. Recharge it afterwards with the XGC4 adapter or from a 12V socket (6-8 h).
